Nice place above the area so you have great views. Waiter was exceptional in every way. I let him decide my appetizer and as you can imagine it was excellent as was the main course had to season the beans with pepper and salt but overall a good experience.

Got my first Kentucky Sweet Tea and our first Fried Green Tomatoes. Rhonda was absolutely the perfect example of Southern Hospitality. Food was fantastic and service was a 10/10. Highly recommend from these Oregon Coast people.

Yes, yes, yes. We were traveling. We were hungry. McDonald's had already made us mad at noon so we were searching for a fix. Limestone Grill was that fix. Let me just say this and make your decision for you. 1. Breaded catfish. 6 stars out of 5. Yes... it's that good. This fish gave its life for a cause. YOU. Respect the cause and eat the fish. I give it an A+. 2. Hillbilly Tacos. 5 stars. This is a pulled pork taco with deep fried cornbread as the shell. I mean, come on. That's not fair! Throw some amazing bbq sauce on it and few tacos can stack up. Then they add some Cole slaw on that. Game over Surrender to the Limestone. You knows you want to. Do it...

We found another jewel as we travel thru Kentucky and Tennessee, the Limestone Grill. They have an extensive menu of home style favorites. We started with the cheesy cauliflower with chipotle ranch and it was delicious but a huge helping. We didn't do it justice. I decided on the chef salad and it didn't disappoint but again, huge portion. The hubby did the special which was catfish with peas (his favorite) and real mashed potatoes (I sampled and they were wonderfully buttery). We don't get south of Lexington often which is disappointing as there were several other items on the menu that I'd like to sample. I would be remiss not to give Rhonda a shout out. She took excellent care of us. I, highly, recommend a stop if you are in the area.

Whether you are visiting historic Renfro Valley, cutting across to Lake Cumberland, traveling through the area, or live nearby, Limestone Grill never disappoints. We have been going here for many years and it is always delicious. Wide variety on the menu, but I am always drawn to their delicious hand breaded Catfish. This plate of scrumpdullyishousness is available each day on the menu, but on Friday evenings, you can order the all you can eat. But honestly, the half order is more than enough for most people. Typical sides are fries and coleslaw, but can be customized to your choices. Each time that I go, I want to try something different, but end up getting the Catfish. My granddaughters love their frog legs and another friend always recommends the open faced roast beef. You definitely need to order their fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They never disappoint! The only down side is the funny taste of the drinks because of the water provided from the local water utility. If you are super picky, take your own bottled water for your meal. Located just off Interstate 75 exit 62 on the hill above the Shell station. When in the area, be sure and visit Renfro Valley!
